Now the book of Matthew talks about the betrayal of the Lord
Who prayed for many hours until he was sweating blood
The disciples, when the scribes came
They were on the run
They didn’t watch and pray, fear gripped them and so they were gone
Scribes came against Jesus with all sorts of weapons
Came with axes and bows,
They probably had guns
Jesus said to them
All the while I’d been in the temple
They didn’t take him
Now they come against him like a thief but that didn’t shake him
Took him all the way to Pontius Pilate
But that didn’t break him
Now I know today and forever
I’m not forsaken

They kicked him
Wipe him
Stripe him
Beat him
Lash him
Thrash him
Spat on him
Laughed at him
Ask him to prophesy!

Who spat on him
Imagine all the agony on/all the way to calvary
At the sixth hour his heart ruptured as they thrust him with a spear
The pain was too much to bare
At the end he said
Eli Eli lama sabach tani
Meaning my Lord my God why has thou forsaken me
To me you gave your kindness your goodness and everything
So what have I given back in return to the king

I’m crazy when I do the dance for the king
Got my praise on
My spirit soul and body gon sing
Like a child on a swing
Yes I ride on his wings
Overwhelmed by the feeling as my eyes get a glimpse of his glory, holy, yeah I got a story, but first you gotta know know the wisdom of this world is folly
Interception; a misconception has been identified so we gotta break the deception
