We are looking for self-motivated Volunteers to update the content (lyrics, artiste bio and blogpost) on our website. The goal is to curate all old and new Nigerian gospel lyrics and we need your help to achieve this.
What does the role entail?
- Publishing at least two(2) music lyrics every week
- Update at least one artiste bio every week.
What skills and experience do you need?
No prior experience is required but an interest/working knowledge of Word Processing and WordPreess would be useful. A manual on how to go about the required tasks shall be provided. An internet-enabled laptop and/or smartphone

- You are required to create a gravatar account which controls the picture and short bio that appear at the bottom of every lyric/post submitted by you.
- Sharing the lyrics to your followers on Twitter and Facebook. Feel free to mention @gospellyricsng, we’ll retweet/repost.

We are looking for a self-driven Social Media Volunteers to attract and interact with our followers on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The goal is to increase follower engagement and website traffic by tactically exploiting all aspects of our social media channels.

Responsibilities
- Execute established social media strategy (editorial calendars and schedules). This shall be shared ones you are accepted.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages user engagement.
- Moderate all user-generated content and comment in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Following gospel artistes and asking them for the lyrics of their songs and/or directing them to our lyrics submission page.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of how Facebook, Twitter and Instagram works. Working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist is a big plus.
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Fluency in English
- An internet-enabled laptop and/or smartphone
